Payment, cancellation, and change fee schedule:

Cancellation Fees (Full cancellation of group or reduction in rooms and/or passengers):

  • Cancellation from time of booking up to 45 days prior to departure: $200CAD penalty per person.
  • Cancellation between 44- 29 days prior to departure: 50% penalty of total price per person
  • Cancellation between 28-0 days prior to departure: 100% penalty of total price per person

 

Name Change conditions:

  • Name changes made 45 days or more prior to departure are penalty-free.
  • Name changes made within 44 days to 29 days of departure are subject to a CAD$75 administration fee per name change.
  • No changes of any kind are allowed within 28 days or less prior to travel.

Name Correction:

  • Before tickets are issued no penalty.
  • After tickets are issued corrections are subject to a CAD$75 administration fee per name correction.

Important notes:

  • No changes are permitted within 28 days of departure.
  • In the event of a hotel close out, the full passenger list is required within 24 hours of notification. If Air Canada Vacations does not receive a complete passenger list, all rooms will be released back to the hotel and penalty fees will apply accordingly. Note: in this instance, names changes are not permitted.

Changes of Departure:

  • Changes are not permitted after departure. If any change is necessary after departure, requests must be directed to Air Canada Vacations destination representative for assistance. Additional fees will apply. Additional restrictions may apply depending on the hotel selected.

Insurance Disclaimer:

At I Do! Dream Destination Weddings we highly recommend you travel with trip cancellation/interruption and Emergency medical insurance to ensure you are covered in case of an unforeseen event. If you have insurance through your credit card or a company policy, we recommend you double check your coverage to ensure it will provide sufficient coverage.

If you require a quote for insurance, please select the type of coverage you are interested in and I will send you a quote once your booking form has been submitted. 




Insurance Waiver:

I am fully aware of all the insurance I am currently covered by, including credit card coverage, work related insurance or any other insurance coverage I may have, and I feel that my existing insurance is sufficient. I understand that I am solely responsible for any cancellation penalties and out-of-pocket expenses incurred. I understand that I will also be responsible for making my own separate travel / medical arrangements, and any other provisions in the event of an emergency while I am traveling. I am aware that some insurance companies or credit card companies, may or may not cover me for all the components covered by Manulife Insurance. Please visit http://www.insureye.com/ for all Canadian credit card coverage details. I also understand that I am not protected from loss in the event of any travel vendor, travel supplier or any travel-related operator default. This waiver confirms that I voluntarily decline travel insurance. I understand I am solely liable for all airline fees, supplier fees, and agency fees that may apply, and I hereby release any / all liability against my travel agent, I Do! Dream Destination Weddings, its representatives and its host agency. You also acknowledge that travel insurance was offered to all parties travelling with you. The client/passenger paying for the trip if authorized, may sign on behalf of other travelling companions. Protect your investment and family. Adding medical insurance is a good way to supplement your current coverage to protect you in an event of any major issues and is highly recommended. The cost is minimal in comparison to suffering a financial hardship. I Decline the offer to purchase Trip Cancellation and Out of Country.
